Replacing Xbox360 console, do I lose downloaded content?

It looks like I may need to replace my Xbox 360 console. Finally got the RRoD, and am out of my warranty period. I’m thinking of replacing it with an Arcade version, and just swapping out my hard drive. But is there anything to be done with downloaded content or gamertag? I have a mix of Live Arcade games, game-specific downloads (i.e. Guitar Hero tracks) and movies, some of which I realize probably have DRM on them.

i was happily strolling around toybox mode in toy story 3, wheenn… HOLY F***ING SH*T A ZURG BOT COMES OUT OF NOWHERE! so i quickly jump out of the car to…. take its picture, hey its a mision i had to do! but when i selected the camera, my xbox FROZE!!!!! ive had my xbox for less than a year, so i doubt its th red ring of death, but please help! i havent saved in awhile so i dont want to turn it off! but i guess ill kinda have to wont i? oh well please help! and gamertag is “gtsampsn”

Getting another Xbox360 when I already have one. What to do in regards to DRM?

So now I finally have a FULL HD (1080p) TV, I want to utilize every aspect of it. The 360 I have now is an older model and has component. I did, however, eventually get a 120gb HDD since I got a good deal on it. I also moved all the info from 1 HDD to the other via memory unit!

BASICALLY this is my question: If I where to get another Xbox (either an arcade because it’s cheap, or an elite because the black looks cool)..how would I handle the XBLA and other DRM stuff? Could I just snap my HDD onto the new Xbox? I would probably put the old Xbox into the bedroom.

Would it be easier to get a migration kit? If so, would all those silly DRM rules apply? aka I would have to keep my gamertag signed into Xbox Live in order to play XBLA games? Everything is purchased on my account, so if my BF wanted to play on his account..this won’t be a problem right? That is my main concern. I just want to make this as simple as possible.

Xbox360 Live Stalker Help!?

Me and my friends have been stalked all day by a guy who’s Gammertag is AccountBaneger who know what we are doing and what we are saying its starting to creep me out when he keeps talking about spending all my friends and me.and that’s why he is watching me and my friends because one of my friends is a co-host to tenth lobbies. He sent him a message saying he was being watched and to host a tenth lobby.Then after he started on my friend he started on us looking for reasons to get us banned. Like at one point i was gonna get on youtube.com and he sent me a message saying “youtube enabled” so i think there something going on here this guy is like the Ultimate xbox live stalker and as i was writing this question i was telling my friend i was writing this and he sent me a message saying “Yahoo Answers”

*Update* he just said he is a member of IW Moving to Treyarch and the reason he could hear what we were saying was because he had bugged our accounts

My xbox360 has officially pissed me off.?

When I turned on the console yesterday, it said I wasn’t connected to the internet so i turned the console off for about 5 minutes. I turned it back on and switched profiles to another previous one, and that didn’t work as well…So i turned it off turned, then back on and everything has completed been wiped out. I can’t recover my GamerTag or anything it won’t even connect to the internet.

Any suggestions?
It’s really makes me mad that I paided for a years membership
everything connects but when it gets to the PC it doesn’t connect.

Xbox360 Arcade Licenses?

I sent my unit away for a repair, and got it back today. Plugged everything in and fired it up. We found that all of the arcade games were unavailable to us, and we had a sheet tell us how to get them back. After doing that with each piece of content, we can’t access it. I know the issue is that the gamertag of the person who purchased the content MUST be signed into Live. Is there a way to make it so others can access the content?
Also, some of the games have maintained their saves, and others have not. I have not touched the saved games or anything. Everything saves to a hard drive, and that’s it.

Any advice? I know Microsoft has a new Content Migration thing that we can use, but it says that “if your console has come from a repair, all of this is done for you”…I am not sure, but I could say “apparently not”.

When I put my hdd onto my unmodded xbox360, the gamertags I used with the modded xbox360 no longer show up?

I have never connected my modded 360 to the internet before.

And recover your gamertag didnt work, it said ” Cant Save Your profile on the selected storage device. Please make sure the device is inserted correctly and has enough free space, and then try again.” The device is inserted correctly (12 other gamertags show up), and I have 9.6 gigs of free space.

What do I do? How can I get my gamertag back on the unmodded system? Has this happened to anyone here before?

When I sign into xbox.com, it doesnt say I’m banned anywhere. Nothing out of the ordinary on my profile there.

MW3 Cant Party Up xbox360?

i have been playing mw3 all day splt screen online with my husband on his gamertag and me on my gamertag our internet s fine and we havent had a problem all day. we attempted to join a party of two more people and start playing team death match everytime the whole party would try to join a game it would boot me and my husband out and not our friends i signed my name out and everything worked fine for the other 3 people in the party but if i sign back in it kicks me and my husband off again.is there something wrong with my account ive been on the phone with microsoft on hold for 3 hours and im fed up does anyone know whats going on?

XBOX360 Account Problems?

i have gold, but i ran out of gold membership so i purchased 3months of gold before it ran out. Now when i log into my account, it tells me “Your account has been suspended due to problems with payment options”. I have messed with everything(account management and settings etc.), but it seems i can not go onto my account. It appears i still have gold because where it says my gamertag, it has a GOLD background, not silver or anything. Even if i did run out of gold it should convert to silver automatically. What is wrong and what can i do about? Should i call Microsoft about it? PLEASE HELP!
And when im at the dashboard, and go to -My XBOX, above xbox LIVE it says DISCONNECTED. But when i use other accounts on my xbox like some that i made for friends, it works fine.(it says im signed into silver)
