Looking to join MW2 Clan!? (xbox360)?
Looking for a laid back team, that isnt totally serious, doesnt trashtalk, and doesnt only care about winning.
Im lvl 59 and hasnt prestiged yet.
Im an average joe player, not the best, but sure and hell not the worst.
I am 15. Not looking for any team consisting of bitchy 10 yr olds. We all know how annoying that is.
Thanks!
Just answer with your gamertag and/or message me through xboxlive.

I’m a recruiter of the Zeigel clan and it is a pretty good clan. We don’t hack, we play fair and we don’t let anyone in under the age of 13. My gamertag is Cream of Gow.

Replacing Xbox360 console, do I lose downloaded content?
It looks like I may need to replace my Xbox 360 console. Finally got the RRoD, and am out of my warranty period. I’m thinking of replacing it with an Arcade version, and just swapping out my hard drive. But is there anything to be done with downloaded content or gamertag? I have a mix of Live Arcade games, game-specific downloads (i.e. Guitar Hero tracks) and movies, some of which I realize probably have DRM on them.

You can recover your xbox live gamer tag. (So no worry there).
Your games well come over with the hard drive.
The problem is, the games you paid for, (on Xbox live) won’t work unless you are on XBOX live.
When you buy an arcade game, it gets tied to your xbox and to your gamer tag, because you well be on a different xbox, the only way to verify that you really own that game is to connect to xbox live. This usually isn’t to big of problem, but the only main one you would hit.

Getting another Xbox360 when I already have one. What to do in regards to DRM?
So now I finally have a FULL HD (1080p) TV, I want to utilize every aspect of it. The 360 I have now is an older model and has component. I did, however, eventually get a 120gb HDD since I got a good deal on it. I also moved all the info from 1 HDD to the other via memory unit!
BASICALLY this is my question: If I where to get another Xbox (either an arcade because it’s cheap, or an elite because the black looks cool)..how would I handle the XBLA and other DRM stuff? Could I just snap my HDD onto the new Xbox? I would probably put the old Xbox into the bedroom.
Would it be easier to get a migration kit? If so, would all those silly DRM rules apply? aka I would have to keep my gamertag signed into Xbox Live in order to play XBLA games? Everything is purchased on my account, so if my BF wanted to play on his account..this won’t be a problem right? That is my main concern. I just want to make this as simple as possible.
Thanks!

You can do it.. But its kind of a pain..
You are right about Xbox DRM Works but I’ll run through it anyway:
When you first purchase / download something it gets tied to the gamertag and console. That gamertag can use that content on any other console but must be logged in to Xbox Live to access it. On the console where you first downloaded it anyone can use the content without needing to be signed in to Xbox Live.
Console means the Console not the hard drive.. So if you move your hard drive to a different Xbox you will need to be signed in online to access the content and other users will not be able to.
The Data Migration kit is intended to move the data from one hard drive to a larger drive (it came out with the 120GB drives).. It moves only content and not licenses.
To move the licenses you need to use Microsoft’s License Migration Tool (check the link below).. It works like this:
You go to the web site and select the Xbox to migrate your licenses to and then you go to the new Xbox 360 and sign in with your gamertag and Press the Guide button then go to Settings > Account Management > Download History
Now you have to redownload everything you ever downloaded.. If the content is still on your hard drive it only takes a second but if it’s not you have to wait for the content to fully download (At least with the Active Downloads queue you can stack several downloads)
I had to do this after my Falcon Arcade got the E74 error and was replaced.. I had over 750 items to download and wasn’t really a happy camper.. It’s too bad they couldn’t make a ‘Re-Download All’ button or something..
The link below has detailed instructions and a video from Major Nelson explaining the process..
Update: I just watched the video and it looks like it is a little easier now that you can access your download history on xbox.com and add everything to your download queue from there..
Good Luck..
